And here we present the best man and the two groomsmen:
Gordon Yong (Best Man)
How do you know the Bride and/or Groom:
I met the groom in grade 8, during a badminton game where he was considered the best on his team and his father wanted me to play against him. We didn't keep score but everyone in our school was impressed with his skills!
I met the bride through the groom as they started going out in first year. I still remember her knitting while she was watching Arthur and I play at tournaments... one of my first memories of her!
Most memorable moment with Bride and/or Groom:
Almost blowing up the school during chemistry class in grade 11. GOOD TIMES!!!!
Anytime Arthur gives her the look during badminton!! hahahhahaa
Quote or words of wisdom for the bride and groom:
It's all downhill after marriage. (I kid I kid!) This will take a year to answer so I'll let you know on your wedding day!
What animals (or cartoon characters) do you think the groom and bride each resembles the most?
Hmmm, I think Arthur is like Chip and Fong Yee is like Gadget (From the hit cartoon series in the early to mid 90s, "Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers!")
If you were to play badminton against the groom, who would win and what would be the score? If you were to play badminton against the bride, who would win and what would be the score?
Ooh, this is a touchy question! I think Arthur and I have been dodging this question since we became badminton partners in Grade 11!
As for the bride, I'd beat her 21-1, 21-1, only because I would not want to be mean! LOL
How do you know the Bride and/or Groom:
School, work and the occasional hootenanny
Most memorable moment with Bride and/or Groom:
When one of the groomsman (you can guess which one it was) puked over the railings at Tantra on his birthday in front of the girl he was trying to impress. Later on that night a chase ensued involving an intoxicated drunk running down a dark alley, lots of whipped cream being sprayed on the birthday boy, and a jacket that needed to be dry-cleaned the next day. Let's just say the groom and both groomsmen were involved in this little adventure.
Hobbies or favourite past time or things to do:
Training for the 2010 shadow puppets Olympics. Does that sound better than eat BBQ Pringles, watch TV and self-indulgent navel gazing?
Quote or words of wisdom for the bride and groom:
Bake her more cookies
Love isn't about how happy she makes you feel. It's about how happy you feel when she is happy.
If you were to play badminton against the groom, who would win and what would be the score? If you were to play badminton against the bride, who would win and what would be the score?
Badminton is for people who can't play ping-pong. :)
How do you know the Bride and/or Groom:
It was a cold winter and a few days after 9/11 when I first met Arthur,
the winds where howling and terrorists were everywhere. Every other day there was some white powder in the elevator that shut the building down (most likely some one dropped their powered-sugar Timbits on the ground). We look out the 22nd floor window at Metrotower II wondering if the Cessna will hit us. Not only that the threat of a strike at Telus looms us as Co-op union busters try to break the union's back by moving workstations and servers around without being bound and tied up by the UNION brand RED TAPE.
Most memorable moment with Bride and/or Groom:
Snowboarding, and also Brandy's
Quote or words of wisdom for the bride and groom:
To keep your marriage brimming, with love in the wedding cup, whenever you're wrong, admit it; whenever you're right, shut up
If you can go anywhere in the world / do anything with the bride AND groom (note the AND), where and what would it be?
Anywhere that does not involve sleeping out side or walking up a mountain in the middle of nowhere where malaria runs rampant
(editor's note: I think this is a knock at the bride and groom's interests in traveling to faraway places and going hiking)
What animals (or cartoon characters) do you think the groom and bride each resembles the most?
Darian and Sailor Mercury
(editor's note: there is the lyrics to the theme song of Sailor Moon that Jason wanted to add in, but out of consideration to our readers, it has been omitted)
